Would you love to be proud of your smile, but currently hiding your teeth?

If so, then Invisalign could be the treatment you’re looking for.

At Altmore Dental Practice, our Invisalign dentist will take an impression of your teeth before a treatment plan is created. This will check whether the teeth can be straightened using the Invisalign System. Once confirmed, a detailed treatment plan will then be developed using ClinCheck®, our virtual 3D treatment plan.

ClinCheck shows the series of movements your teeth are projected to make over the course of the treatment so you can see how your teeth are expected to look at the end of your Invisalign treatment before it even begins.

More About Invisalign

Based on your appointment, a series of aligners are custom made in a laboratory using advanced computer imaging technology. You wear each aligner for two weeks before being replaced with the next one, until your teeth are straight.
Aligners are nearly invisible- straighten your teeth without anyone noticing. Aligners are comfortable- there are no wires or metal to cause mouth abrasions. Aligners are removable- for eating, drinking, dental care or other activites. Better oral hygiene during treatment- brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth.
Invisalign is for all age groups. We offer teen and adult Invisalign.

The immediate results can be seen at the start of treatment but can take anything from 12-18 months for treatment to complete, depending on patient compliance.

It is normal that you will only feel temporary discomfort when you wear the aligners for the first few days. The smooth aligners are not harmful to the inside of your mouth, but you do feel pressure and this is a good sign that the aligners are working.

Dr Mukerji is a Specialist Orthodontist and is on the Specialist Register.  She has been successfully treating 1000s patients presenting with complex needs.
